The rules for booking and providing rides with us.

Using the service
Captic Services LLC connects passengers with approved drivers for car, limo and shuttle rides in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and be old enough to form a binding agreement.
Recording
Rides are recorded with audio and video from Start Ride to End Ride, for safety. By creating an account or booking a ride you consent to this recording. Recordings are deleted after 14 days unless held for an incident or legal reason, and only authorised administrators can view them. See the Privacy Policy.
Passengers
- You see a fare estimate before you confirm a booking. The final fare is the agreed price.
- Please be ready at the pickup point and treat drivers and vehicles with respect.
- You can cancel a ride before it starts. We may limit accounts that repeatedly cancel late.
Drivers
- Drivers must hold a valid license and insurance, and keep their vehicle safe, clean and as described.
- A driver account is reviewed and approved by us before any rides are offered. We may suspend an account for safety or conduct concerns.
- Drivers accept the recording policy: the in-vehicle camera and microphone run during every ride, and the driver must not stop or tamper with them.
Safety and conduct
Harassment, violence, discrimination, or illegal activity during a ride can lead to removal from the service and may be reported to the authorities.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fare paid for the affected ride. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
